Course Info:

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.

This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability. The job roles that relate to this qualification may also include RTO Manager and RTO Director. (https://training.gov.au/Training/Details/BSB80120)

Entry Requirements:

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however, Leeds College requires all students to satisfy the following:
  • Be 18 years of age at the time of enrolment
  • Have successfully completed equivalent to an Australian Year 12 qualification
  • Able to demonstrate English Language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (Refer to “Guide to English Proficiency” document for further details)
  • Able to satisfy pre-training review requirements
  • Able to satisfy LLN skills requirements of the course.
  • Have a valid visa and rights to study in Australia
  • Have access to a laptop or a tablet that allows access to internet, the Learner Portal, and adequate software to review and prepare .docx, .xls, .ppt, and PDF documents, and Emails and Microsoft Teams at minimum
Leeds College may require prospective students to attempt:
  • an LLN Skills test, or
  • an English proficiency placement test
  • Additional pre training interview

Course resources and materials:

Leeds College will provide:
  • Access to Learner Portal
  • Access to Learning and training material and resources for each unit of competency including lecture slides, and student guide/book as well as simulated business profile and documents if/when required
  • Access to Assessment documents
  • Access to internet in the campus
Students must ensure access to the following:
  • a laptop or tablet
  • adequate software to view and produce .xls, .docx, .ppt, and pdf, Emails and Microsoft Teams at minimum
  • a valid email address, that is provided to Leeds College also
  • internet connection when outside of campus
  • maintenance of active and current login credentials for the Learner Portal
